Karting question of the day! Eastern Ohio kart tracks had pretty good growth in 2013 introducing a box stock clone class merging the back yard kart racer with AKRA racers. We would like to continue the growth but calling it box stock is stretching the term box stock too much. In 2014 we feel the term modified stock would fit this class with wienie pipe and stock airbox better. Also we would like input back from racers about their thoughts of adding WKA flatheads and 3 hole gold animals into this modified stock class to allow more racers with various motors to compete in one class with what they have and not have to buy the latest flavor of kart motor. The horsepower comparison is decently close.
