Kashmir News: Soura Encounter: Gunfight Between Militants And Indian Forces Is going on In Soura Srinagar, 01 Militant Killed So Far............ >> A suspected militant was killed during an ongoing gunfight in Jammu and Kashmirs summer capital, an official said here. He told the Sources that a gunfight broke out between militants after government forces had established checkpoint on the 90-feet road in Srinagars Soura-Awantabhawan suburb. The forces had asked a car ferrying the militants, believed three in number, but it didnt halt, he said. In the initial exchange of fire, one unidentified militant has been killed. Two militants took refuge in a house after abandoning the car. Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Abdul Gani Mir said militant was killed in retaliatory fire after gunmen attacked a police patrolling party. The exchange of fire is on.
