Kashmir gets first 7d theatre ********************* Source (Greater Kashmir). Kashmir’s first 7d theatre was inaugurated at Zabarwan Park. Director Tourism, Talat Pervaiz, inaugurated the theatre, which is a joint venture between the Tourism Department and a private entrepreneur. The theatre will provide the simulated physical effects of wind, lightning, rain, snow, fog, bubble, air blast on face, aroma and fire in synchronization with the film clips to viewers. Sheikh Rashid, Manager of the theatre said that they will screen documentary films of about 10 to 15 minutes duration. Pertinently, it is the first 7D theatre not only in Kashmir but in entire North India. “The specially designed, pneumatically operated seats will wobble and jolt, keeping the person who sits in it in sync with the developments in the movie,” Rashid said.
