Kashmir is a trilateral issue; pro-freedom leadership only representatives of nation; HCJK to continue unity with like-minded Hurriyat groups: Shabir Shah Srinagar, Aug 22: Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader Shabir Ahmad Shah Friday said that Kashmiri pro-freedom leadership is the only representative of nation and that Kashmir issue is a trilateral issue between India, Pakistan and Kashmiri resistance leadership. Apart from Shabir Ahmad Shah, JKLF-R chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karatey and Muhammad Yasin Ataai also addressed the gathering. Shah said “It does not matter whether India will acknowledge Kashmiri pro-freedom leadership as the stakeholders of K-issue, the whole world has already acknowledged Kashmir as an international issue between India, Pakistan and Kashmiri pro-freedom leadership,” Shah said, while addressing a public gathering at Kangan, Ganderbal in central Kashmir. “How can those parties and leaders be the representatives of nation who have acknowledged Indian supremacy over Kashmir and are contented in being their (Indian) slaves?” Shah added. Shah further said: “For the better interest of freedom movement, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir will continue to forge unity between the like-minded resistance groups. Until or unless we raise a single and unified voice against Indian forcible occupation, we will never meet our demands.” He said India not only suppresses the ongoing freedom movement of Kashmiris through military might but also misleads the world community by staging election drama here. “Those pro-India parties who murdered and massacred our people are now begging for votes in the name of development and vice-versa; but I am hopeful that our pro-freedom people will boycott the so-called elections in letter and spirit,” he said
