Kasi hangout spots in WC Cape Town like Kwa Ace (Khayelitsha) Corner Lounge Gugs Cashs Sports Bar Gugx GQ Lounge @PISTOS LOUNGE 112 GUGULETU Sollys Laroca Chippaslounge Strand Chippas Place Paarl , etc. have changed the urban life entertainment scene as we have seen a shift from CBD nightlife to kasi and this is evident in how it becomes very difficult to fill up a club in CBD when events are organized because kasi hangout spots are more convenient transport wise also that when under the influence easier to get home. The other thing I like is that violence is decreasing and events are becoming incident free. There are many event organizers and promoters who are responsile for this shift and it would be impossible to name them all therefore will ommit names but praise everone responsible for this positive shift in the Cape Town entertainment industry. Now there is a game changing phenomina from taking picnics and big events to these hangout places, what is next in Cape Town is to do proper show at the local stadiums that will be filled up headed by the local artists and Djs.
