Kate Bush, born on July 30th, 1958, London. Kate Bush is an unusual creature. I do not know that i always like her music - but feel compelled to listen to it when it is on, or seek it out occasionally to make sure i am current with progressive avant garde. Like Bjork whom she has influenced - she seems to be taken from the set of Avatar or some mythological story of artful life from other planets. She is a singer, songwriter, producer and performance artist. If she champions charities, i do not know about them. Her influence is suggested on Madonna, Annie Lennox, Bjork, Natalie Merchant, Ani Di Franco, and many others. Her lyrics and melodies can defy gravity, and frequently refer to arcane or esoteric sources. Some connection as been made to the fierce consciousness master G.I. Gurdjieff. If you are feeling life is getting to mundane at home or the shopping market - carry a few images of Kate at her most extra-terrestrial. You can say - I belong to this species and feel there is hope for life in the unprecedented lane. On the other hand, our girl has put on some weight, - happy marriage it seems in her case, and may be getting ready for like whatever crone-hood. She has been awarded, among other things: Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire or COME-OBE. Are you in line for an honor of equivalent gravitas? I think not, gpod friend.
