Kate Edwards spent 13 years at Microsoft, working first as a cartographer on the Encarta Encyclopedia series, then as a Geopolitical Strategist, where she reviewed many of Microsoft’s first party Xbox and PC titles for cultural sensitivities. She then left Microsoft to form her own company Englobe (now Geogrify) in 2005, which specializes in content culturalization in video games and digital content.
