I choose Betsy Hodges for Mayor of Minneapolis. I believe that in an era of party politics leading to loggerheads and shutdowns, Betsy has what we sadly dont find in many of our elected officials: the ability and the willingness to reach across the aisle and get things done. If you have not attended one of these events before, know that there will NOT be a shakedown for cash at the door. At this point in the game, it is critical for as many people as possible to get clear on their choices for our next Mayor. If, after you hear what Betsy has to say, you feel compelled to support her with a few or many dollars, thats your decision, and its absolutely not mandatory. I know this is a particularly crazy time of year for many of you, and I wouldnt be bugging you about it if I didnt think it was extremely important for the future of Minneapolis. Please come, and feel free to bring flyers promoting whatever youre doing. The election is two weeks from tomorrow. Its almost over! I urge you to join me on Wednesday night to meet Betsy.
