Kate is feeling considerably well. Only a low grade fever at times and feels fine! She is staying with a friend today, Cheryl Hercus Everett, so Brady can get to work. It does my heart good to know she was looking forward to her day with Cheryl and getting pictures like these throughout my day! Grayson is actually feeling much better, which means he doesnt want to be in the hospital and wants out of this room. But because he has C diff he cant leave the room. So hes was kind of in a foul mood this morning. Until we got a visitor Bailey Jo Quinn! She was one of our favorite volunteers and she rode her bike across America this summer in honor of G man! I swear he remembered her and was happy to see her! When I asked him if I could go get lunch from downstairs, he said yes even!!!! Bottom looks like its drying out a little to me. A little better, but still bad. Doctors have decided to stop the morphine to see how he does. They were hoping his booty would look good enough to switch the yeast medicine to an oral, but not so much. They would rather keep it IV until its really improving. Cultures have yet to grow anything so we arent sure what we are battling yet. Diarrhea is really slowing down...rather its because of the morphine (which tends to constipate) or CDiff meds will be seen soon! ;). Either way, a break from endless poo has been nice!
