Kathryn Bigelow has again partnered with Annapurna Pictures to bring another important film to the screen. I have such respect for Ms. Bigelow, for her courage and her vision as a Director, and also for her commitment to, at the very least, stimulating conversation and ultimately, to bring about change to policies worldwide. (If youve never seen Zero Dark Thirty, this weekend would be a good time to view it.) In her newest film, Last Days of Ivory, she vividly presents the links, the funneling of millions of dollars of profit from Ivory poaching directly to the funding of terrorist groups. The trailer is below, and please know that it is graphic. But, it is urgent that we all realize that we should never again purchase Ivory in any form. Period. Ever. Kudos to Ms. Bigelow and Megan Ellison for this brilliant film.
