Kathua, OCTOBER 2:- Swachh Bharat Abhiyan formally launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua today at Dream Land Park, Kathua. Sh. Shahid Iqbal Choudahry, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua was Chief Guest on occasion and function preside over by Sh. G. Prasanna Ramaswamy IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua. Sh. Shahid Iqbal Choudahry, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua administered the Cleanliness Pledg ( Swachhata Shapath) to the Senior Officers of the District Administration, Prominent Citizens, National Youth Corps Volunteers, Members of Youth Clubs etc. that I do sharamdan 2 hours in a week and 100 hours in a year for cleanliness at home, mohalla, village and work place. Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Appealed to All Govt. Officials, Prominent Citizens, General Public, Youth Club Members, Social Organizations, NGOs to actively participate in the Swachh Bharat Mission, to make it a massive mass movement to make India Clean and Green. Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua planted a sampling in Dream Land Park. Som Datt Zard, DYC, NYK briefed that all Mentor Youth Clubs in all blocks organizing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in their respective villages and a massive campaign shall be launched through NYC volunteers by involving Youth Clubs and Mahila Mandals. In this programme Chief Planning Officer, District Informatics Officer-NIC, Deputy Director R.D., District Information Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Assistant Director, Planning, Chief Executive Officer, MC Kathua, District Statistical Officer, National Youth Corps Volunteers, other official, Youth Club Members etc. participated.
