Kathy Hecht has asked us to share this information with the community: Just wanted to let you know that my car was burgled Wed. night. Please let others know. Not much to get (they missed all the change in my ash tray) but they did take a box with 6 shoebox size boxes wrapped in Christmas paper and labeled for a child in it that were supposed to go to My Sisters Place. The officer i filed my complaint with suggested that I let people know so if you see anything discarded (like the wrapping paper or young kids stuff) in the neighborhood, you could let me or the PD know. I got the impression that this is a much more common occurrence than I realized - and thats pretty bad.
