For the new HSC Facebook member and for the older HSC Facebook members, who havent had a chance to make it to one of the Sunday morning classes, the HSC class meets on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM in the South Hall, for a time of praise and fellowship. You can find the South Hall by going into entrance #1, and look for the doors across from the coffee kiosk. We are blessed that Pastor Issac Curry will be teaching this coming Sunday. After the class, the HSC group has a special seating section in the main sanctuary, where the class attends the 11:15 service as a group, and everyone is welcome to join the group. Our HSC Director/Pastor David Morris also wanted to remind everyone about - The Tuesday Dance Class: weekly lessons at 6:30 in room 405 at Hope. The first hour is free and the second hour will cost $5.00. For more information contact our Dance Coordinator/Team Leader Ray Fleming at 748-1256. David also let us know that on Saturday - Advanced Dance Seminars: August 23 from 12:00 to 3:00 in room 405. Pastor Morris also let us know that - Hope Concert - Johanna needs volunteers for CiCi Winans concert August 15th. Email her Johanna@hopepres or contact her on FB if you would like to help out. Those who volunteer will be recieve pizza, drinks and be able to watch the concert at no cost. David has also reminded us of the - SINGLES TAKEOVER! SINGLES TAKEOVER! SINGLES TAKEOVER! We are ecstatic to announce our Singles Takeover service event which will take place on August 17th at the 11:15am Hope Worship service. If you missed our last event you DONT want to miss this! What is S.T.? It is when HSC takes over all the Greeting and Hosting posts around the entire church during a designated service. We wear our T-shirts to represent our ministry. Its an overwhelming response to our ability and willingness to serve God and our church. Its a great fellowship opportunity and a wonderful way to get connected to other aspects of our church! We are looking to gather at least 55 of our HSCers to help serve. Last time we had nearly 70! Pastor Issac Curry wanted to let those who are going to be helping with the Singles Takeover that he - ENCOURAGES each person to ARRIVE to Bible study ON TIME this week. Because we must distribute shirts, give assignments, and arrive to our posts for our SINGLES TAKEOVER (see below), I will begin teaching our next installment on “Toxic Relationships” at approximately 9:30! SO PLEASE, PASS THE WORD! There will not be any time of fellowship or any announcements, We will begin with the lesson and we will transition in our preparation for our SINGLES TAKEOVER! Sports events - Bowling - Seasonal start date not set. Volleyball - Wednesday night at 6:30 in Hopes gym. Softball - The summer season has begun and they will play on Thursday nights. The games will be on Thursday nights at Buckhead field. Times vary. This is a Co-Ed team and there is a need for any ladies that would like to play. This coming Thursday will be a makeup game and will be the last game of the season. Tennis – Friday nights at 6:30 ----- when announced on the HSC Facebook page ---- at the Bartlett Municipal Park. There will be free lessons before the matches start. All of the sporting events - will be available to both HSC Facebook members - and - HSC members. While all are welcome on the HSC FB page, it is highly recommend that all HSC Facebook members attend the Sunday morning class whenever possible. Go with God - my friends.
