Kathy Twitty (Mom) This is My Tobee, my little rescue. Special needs fur baby who was used as a breeder because of his 3 lb size. Kept in a crate for 3 years and underfed to keep him tiny to raise the price of the puppies. Inbread and near death when I saw him. I told his breeder to give him to me or I was calling the authorities. She did and I called them anyway! I changed his name from T.j. To Tobee and then changed everything about his life. He was unsocial and afraid of everything. Love totally transformed this beautiful little creation of God. He soaked it up like a sponge. His 3 lb went to 4 lbs and stays at a healthy weight I have another tiny Yorkie and they have spent the past 9 years as best buddies. His hair that was falling out grew beautifully. His body responded to massage and care. His sweetness has blessed my life beyond measure. In truth. I did not rescue my now aging loving baby, he rescued me! I know as his eyesight is failing and his health issues are stealing his youth. His mind slipping. I pick him up and snuggle him more. I kiss and whisper loving words in his ear thanking him for all his love. I know we have less time before us than behind us now. Every day with Tobee is a gift rescue and love. Special needs Animals require a little more love and attention but they give it back ten-fold!
