Katie Delaney > Dogs with FCE and other disabilities (support group) · Hi there, it has been 3 days since my dachshund Bosley was diagnosed with FCE. I took him to a specialist vet in Melbourne who performed a myelogram and CT only to find nothing wrong in his spine or neck. He is still able to walk (very slowly), wags his tail and has made improvement in the 2 days since being home. My problem is that I am confused with his diagnosis as everything I have read is that the dog will usually suffer paralysis after FCE and this has not happened to bosley. He seems normal but everything has just slowed dramatically and is a tiny bit wobbly and slow when walking. He still rolls over and sleeps with his legs in the air and he even walked up the ramp to the back door today. What are others thoughts on this. Anyone else gone through this as well? Thanks
