Katie MettlerHomeward Bound Pug Rescue & Adoption of Oklahoma 7 hrs · Hello everyone, this is Tobi! As you may remember, he came into the rescue with two broken back legs and a broken spirit. After multiple surgeries and rehab he is able to run and play. Due to my busy schedule and his high energy I am not able to adopt him, which has been an EXTREMELY difficult decision. He is almost a year old now and is one of the happiest dogs around. He loves to play, go on walks, and cuddle (that is of course, when he is done playing). He does well with children and other dogs. In fact, he has had a foster sister this whole time and I would like to see him go to a home with another little dog that he can play with. He needs a lot of attention as his back legs are not as stable as other dogs. He slips around easily on tile or wood floors when he comes speeding into the kitchen for a snack. Because of his past history, his training has been a slow and steady process. We are still working on deciding what can and cannot be chewed up. He is very good about going potty outside, but occasionally has accidents. He sleeps in his crate at night but he loves when he gets to sleep in the bed with me, which is actually quite often since he loves to cuddle (and maybe because he is a little spoiled too ).
