Katie Stallings update: We are home from the hospital and very happy about it! Katie is doing well. She has NOT had headaches or nausea. Two very important signs that the bleeding has continued to stay stopped. The biggest challenge now is to keep her still. She is not allowed to ride her bike, run, skateboard, swim, climb trees, all the normal things that Katie enjoys doing. So, we would like to ask for prayer that she is able to handle this and stay more sedentary than she has ever been. She is going to do quite a bit of reading, crafting and drawing in the next month. She has already made me a new pair of earrings and a painted stone! I am sure we will learn more from the Neurosurgeon next Tues after her CT Scan. I am so overwhelmed by the love, prayers and support that we have received. My heart is overflowing. A want to especially special thank a few people. Erin Renfro Kennedy for packing up our stuff from the Lake House and bringing my boy back home to me. Also, to Heather Valentino Craft for taking care of my dogs that we had with us at the cabin and helping Erin get us packed up. Jessica Cornwell Kincer, dont know what I would have done without you, you were on the receiving end of my initial break down! And you saved my eyes by bringing me contact supplies. I love you! And Pandora Schrank, wow! What a great blessing to walk into a CLEAN HOUSE! Thanks for taking the time to make sure our return home was so welcoming. Precious lady! Thanks to everyone of you who prayed. I could feel your prayers as I sat by Katies side. Katie said, Mom, Im not scared anymore. Even if I have to have surgery, I know the Lord is with me. I am not sure how people get through such stressful situations like this without the Lord. My constant Rock and Shelter. Thank you God for blessing me with awesome family, church family and friends. Your hand at work! God is still in the business of performing miracles!
