Katies Wednesday so far: Not so good. Shes getting a bit snippy, has refused the last 3 meals, and now actually runs from me when she knows its feeding time. :( :( I will not force-feed her anymore. I got a call back from the second mobile vet I had called, and he is not taking any new patients just for euthanasia. Were not quite ready today, but this is looking like her final few days. Those of you who have suggested certain foods, thank you for your loving help and experience! Weve tried so many now, including this mornings latest (home-made diet for liver shunt, basically cottage cheese, tofu and white rice), and she only took a lick from my fingers. I fear giving her something that she may enjoy for a moment (like a richer food, or a bowl full of her beloved berries) only for her to go into a crisis prompting us to rush her in pain to the e-vet for euthanasia. But, I also hate not giving her some pleasure! This is all heart-breakingly hard!
