Katniss Everdeen . . . allegory is an extended metaphor. That does not get taught in public schools today because it is politically incorrect to teach proper English, as is it is to teach proper math, and accurate history. President Snow . . . symbolism. The capitol—wow. George Orwell’s 1984 came out in 1949. My prediction . . . the media is going to be crucified for their silence, not just in the near future, but throughout all of history regarding this era. History is not taught in public schools which is why people think America will always be the land of the free, home of the brave. Many assume America has a guaranteed bubble of freedom, comfort, and protection that will never “pop. Katniss Everdeen, Hunger Games . . . Hollywood messed up in producing this story. They did not realize they promoted the story that replaces Orwell’s 1984. They promoted what they despise. “What I have written . . . I have written.” Mockingjay . . . 4EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) youtube/watch?v=IXshQ5mv1K8
