Katutarou Kikuchi/Robert Lawarre methods inspired teabowls today. The one with the untrimmed foot is a big one. Nozarashi (野晒し)design etched into the bottom. A skull and bones in a field of grass. I thought it went well with the cracking on the underside of the bowl. Nozarashi is an interesting motif in Japanese art. It is often seen on sword guards. Basically, no matter what you do, this is how youll end up, is essentially the meaning.
