Kayden had to be intubated this morning around 0330. Her oxygen levels kept getting lower and lower. No matter what was done, they just would not come up. Her X-ray this morning is again worse than yesterday mornings. She was just exhausted from working to keep her levels up that the Dr felt it was time to give her a break. They have her sedated so she is resting very peacefully and her levels are all good. They have been able to start her feeds back this morning, thats a good thing cause she has had several really strong spasms. Thats the whole point of this diet so we need to keep her at a therapeutic level. Plans for today are to just let her rest. They took a culture from her lung secretions to make sure there is no bacteria growing in her lungs. They also re-cultured her CVL this morning to see if that infection is clearing up. Rest well my sweet baby girl so your body can heal.
