Kaye and I are having a great time this AM Dolphin Watching from the balcony of the condo on the beach. Wow! A real lesson! While I was pastoring here, I didnt take the kind of time to see the beauty of these remarkable sights right before my eyes. Chuckie Chase, my friend, taught me more about this than I have ever been taught. One day, he came into my office ordering me to get into his car. He spoke very little to me. We ended up in Manteo, at Ice plant Island. He demanded that I get out of the car and walk a long boardwalk over the water that day. Along the way, he pointed out the natural beauties located along the boardwalk. At the end of the walk, we then went for coffee. WE CANNOT, WE MUST NOT, loose sight of the natural beauty all around us that God has given to us in the everyday routine of life. Kaye and I spent last evening with Chuckie Chace, listening to the Celebration Service for his Son Weymouth Chace, who passed at the age 18, while Kaye and I were in Ukraine a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Chuckie Chace! A most unusual perspective about life - a most remarkable guy!
