Kayla Huddleston shared a link. 2 hours ago Family and friends, as some of you may know, when I was 17, I went to the doctor with my mom, Brenda Huddleston, and little brother due to a rash on his face and hands. We found out that day that little Matt had Juvenile Dermatomyositis (which is this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juvenile_dermatomyositis). (TLDR: An almost eczema-looking rash that affects his joints and severely weakens the muscles of young children.) Some children with this get so bad they cant walk, or worse. This caused Matt (at 4 years old) to get 600+ milligrams of steroids and methotrexate once a week for a while, and as he got better, he got to do the treatments less often. Trust me, an already hyper little boy on steroids is not fun! Well today, Matts doctor told dad, Brent Huddleston, hes done with his treatments and hes doing so well that he may be able to get his chemoport out in 4-5 months! Its been a long road, but its finally almost over!
