Kayla had a great day at school, and PT afterwards. I took her and Momma to meet Jess her physical therapist. I sat there watching Kayla talk about her day, and she was do happy. They place a heat pack on her to help loosen the muscles. After about 10 minutes therapy began. Im not sure I was prepared for it all, nor was my heart. Kayla sat on the side of the table and they worked with bending her knee. She didnt mind that part much, and did very well. Only a couple ouches and she was done. They moved on to tummy time...Jess pulled her leg up to bend the knee. Oh my, I felt bad for Kayla. She started crying, saying it hurts it hurts, and I wanted to cry with her. She had to do three sets, and after he leg was bent she had to push against jesses hand. After the sets were done, and hips were flush with the table..there was a small puddle on the floor from lots of tears. Kayla sat up and hobbled over to the shuttle. Her back was hurting her, and a pillow was placed under her. She cried a bit there as well, but once again she got thru it. Last but not least she was on the bicycle working her leg for the last part of PT. She was amazing on that. I dropped mom and Kayla at home after a trip to buy her a large chocolate bar. We talked about when she starts using a cane. You wouldnt think that would be hard to find, but children shouldnt have to use such things. Now the hunt is on for a childs cane. Thanks to everyone thats followed Kayla and still following. Its been a long road and lots of up hill battles, but God is with her.
