Kaysa is a nightclub singer who is out to bring down her Mafia husband. She has been having an affair with Nash Tilyard, a corrupt detective working for the Solace Police Department. Its been a struggle for much of her life and she refuses to be a victim to circumstance anymore. She is the femme fatale: seductive, beautiful...and deadly. Your audition will involve performing two songs (one quite short, the other a longer jazz number) and a section from the script. The lyrics and backing tracks will be given to you upon application. I realise this will be challenging for most but this role is crucial to the success of the film. Its important the right person is cast. I am looking to film around the 3rd quarter of the year, most likely on weekends due to university film studies and generally to make it easier on everyone.
