Ke eleditse dijo tsa Mpho ya badimo waitse,ke gore malatsinyana a bokgowa bo re heretlhile tlhaloganyo,Africans are no longer practising their cultures and traditions,we are so trapped in the dogma instilled by the west that engaging in traditional ceremonies or just practising your culture as a Black man is an ungodly deed and symbolises being heathen, immoral and lost... We have been programmed to believe that only the uncivilised and illiterate Africans practice their culture,we have subjected ourselves to an object of mockery by allowing the West to control and make us look down to those who are passionate about their Identity as Africans, those who dont need the approval of caucasians to live life to the fullest. We are in the worst form of Slavery though we think we are free,we are mentally enslaved,we have an illusion of freedom that makes us trust, love and defend the oppressor, while making an enemy of those who are trying to free us and open our eyes. We scorn and ridicule fellow Africans who seem not to be able to speak or express themselves eloquently and fluently in the English language,we are forgetting that English itself doesnt significantly determine or show ones IQ or reasoning capacity...how dim witted of us,It is absolutely absurd and stupid to boost ones deflated ego and low self-esteem at an expense of ridiculing a fellow Black man,its about time we free ourselves off this mental colonization and enslavement. Change is needed, change is inevitable,we need a paradigm shift,we need to start appreciating our worth and value as Africans and not let somebody elses opinon of us be our reality. Wake up and smell the Coffe darkie, bula matlho. I am the Captain of mysoul,I am the master of my fate, for my thought and feeling are my destiny.
