Kebbi PDP names guber campaign DG Category: News Published on Monday, 29 December 2014 05:00 The Kebbi State chapter of the PDP has named Ambassador Isah Mohammed Argungu as the director general of its governorship candidate, retired Major Gen Sarkin Yaki Bello’s campaign organisation. A senior PDP member revealed this to our correspondent after a meeting attended by Governor Saidu Dakingari, Deputy Governor Ibrahim K. Aliyu, Minister of Special Duties Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, PDP National Treasurer Buhari Bala and state party chairman, Bello Doya, yesterday at Government House in Birnin Kebbi. Others who attended the meeting included three aggrieved governorship aspirants - retired Major Gen Muhammadu Danhanne Isah, Hon Sani Kalgo and Prof Abubakar Muhammad Gulma. “The meeting was to explore strategies ahead of the 2015 general elections considering the current crisis in the party,” the source told Daily Trust. The state party chairman denied losing any member to the opposition as a fallout of the primaries.
