Subtle hints that there is more to know about the past or the emotional makeup of your hero or heroine makes the reader curious. Partly stated ideas raise questions in her mind. A character’s thoughts like “Not again.” Or “He couldn’t know about that!” make her want to know what happened earlier. KEEP THOSE PAGES TURNING is a seven day, intensive course. You will write paragraphs and short scenes and, with my help, analyze them. We will deal with writing effective dialogue. I will read and comment on every one of your responses. Some of those comments will contain suggestions you might want to act upon. Some will simply say you have the right idea.
