Keep looking up! This new star explosion can be seen high in the southeastern sky just after sunset near the Sagitta constellation. Novas are not as strong of explosions as supernovas, and a star that has gone nova will eventually go back to its normal white dwarf state. Some stars have even experienced multiple nova cycles.
