Keep me anonymous I just started my new career. I would say its a profession Ive worked my whole life to achieve up to this point. This career puts me up in the $70-80k annually. Im a married man with responsibilities and faithful to my wife. Since Ive started Ive been approached by 6 female coworkers asking me if I was married. I answer them that I am....no big deal. But I believe theres a double standard here. My wife and I discuss this the other night...had the tables been turn and Id ask a female coworker the same...she would think Im a creep or a stalker right? So do you agree or disagree and have you been in a similar situation (male or female). My wife believes that these women (my coworkers) are wanting this info because they know that Im an accomplished man that would fit the bill for longevity...basically...marriage material.
