Keep seeing stuff all over my feed about people judging people on there tattoos, a woman being sent home on a teacher placement due to her tattoo work etc. If you go out and get heavily tattooed, neck, hands, sleeves etc you need to understand that it shuts doors on you. If you think it doesnt your a idiot. Im not saying there right in judging people, but this is the reality of it. Theres a reason neck and hand tattoos are known as job stoppers like wise this is why a lot of shops wont tattoo these areas unless you have alot of work already. People think i should be supportive of people like the woman who got turned away from work due to neck and hand tattoos, im not. You get tattooed to express yourself and be different, so dont cry when your treated different. Neck and hand tattoos are another level, just cause there fashion at the moment doesnt mean there judged less. Face tattoos again are another level up from that. If you cant handle being judged then dont get things done that your get judged for. Likewise dont be getting your hand and neck tattooed for your first one. Theres a reason you are told to think long term about your tattoos, work is a massive factor. I had the old manager from the company im at now vote against me being employed in the shop due to my neck tattoo. This is another reason laser is getting bigger and bigger. People need to accept a bit of responsibility for there actions, maybe one day the barrier will be broke down, i doubt it.
