There are plenty of sites available for the seasonal stay at a reasonable price. And there are exclusive tent sites and deeper sites available for tenting or trailer. There are also two basic cabins should you lack for a tent or trailer. We opted for a deep site along the outer loop to pitch our tent in a relatively private spot with a large fire pit and easy access to the clean, well kept washroom/shower. The grounds are well maintained, the above ground pool is clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of playground equipment for children. The convenience store is well stocked with everything a camper would need, as well as freshly baked goods, pizza, and ice cream. There is certainly no need to worry about forgetting anything. There is also wifi available at the cafe. An added bonus is the proximity to Taylor Head Provincial Park, one of the gems of the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, with picturesque hiking trails and a white sandy beach. We enjoyed our stay so much on August 24, 2013, that we cancelled our reservations at a Provincial Campground so that we could return for the following long weekend.
