Keep your opinions to yourself. There is nothing wrong with sit - TopicsExpress

Keep your opinions to yourself. There is nothing wrong with sit ups, trycep dips, so stop preaching there sh*t, when there not. Why are you even advertising classes for Moray Council are you trying to lose everyone clients ? That gem of an e-mail was in my in-box this morning ! From another fitness trainer, really unhappy with advice I presume Ive given to client(s) at some stage. Seems like theyve got their pants in a real twist about it too ! Oh my, where do I start on this one... Firstly, your grammar is really poor - This does not mean that your fathers mother has no money. (There, their and theyre all have different meanings - so there !) Your spelling is worse than Harry Potter on crack (Its tricep, not trycep - Latin for 3 headed arm muscle). Now weve addressed the basics, lets press on with your comments. Were (we are) not in the 1970s any more. Sit ups are a really poor choice of core exercise and they dont do your back any favours, they push the curved spine hard into the floor, predominantly working your hip flexors and when these get too tight or too strong they tug on the muscles of the lumbar region, further increasing potential back issues. And theyre (they are) REALLY bad for ladies who have diastasis recti (Thats abdominal separation - which in turn is not a scary snowman whos left his wife). Tricep dips, are just a poor exercise choice for this particular muscle, youve (you have) been fooled by the name - did you also know if you say gullible slowly it sounds like oranges ? Anyway tricep dips are really more anterior deltoid (front shoulder) than triceps and youre (you are) putting it under quite a strain too. There are loads of better exercises for the triceps. Feel free to pop by the studio and Ill show you a few. Dont worry, Ill try not to mention the Moray Council with their new offer (£27 for a family membership, includes swimming, gym and all classes) again and Im sure they wont be stealing any of your clients, as you have to complete a form and sign your name to join. Always best to talk about these things I find. I feel much better now, hope you do too. And as you also mentioned in your email youve lots more Facebook followers than me anyway, so doubt many people will read this. Much love, Dave.
