Keeping it Real Friday: Know your worth. I thought I should speak on it. Ive seen people get with people or try to get with people for the wrong reasons. Either it be insecurity, loneliness, or just plan ignorance. You want that pretty chick that cant do anything for you, or you want that man what makes 6 figures, or has a position of power, but treats you like your disposable. Yet we continue to go back, or chase after this type of person?? But for what?? That is stupidity, there is no loyalty in that. Yet we walk around like nothing is wrong, continue to play the mask game. There is no added benefit other than loose conversation and thats only if you get that. I see single people that want to be married, and married people that want to be single............but no one wants to work for it with the right person. We want projects, we wanna fix people, change them, mold them into what we want them to be. Try this.....most people you deal with, they attracted you in some way. Take away their best quality, whether it is their looks, money, position, aesthetics, good convo, whatever it is.........take away that one good thing. Then ask yourself, is it really worth it? To deal with someone who honestly only had 1 good characteristic? Regardless of what it is, 1 good characteristic wont get you anywhere.....That is like saying; my girl is beautiful, but cant cook, clean, or balance a check book, or my girl can cook her butt off but she ugly as h*ll??? Or my dude is the head of this, but he talk shit to me every night, or my dude has a great build, but doesnt know how to treat someone right, and he is selfish. Sad thing is...........most of us feel that way but dont really think about it that deeply. We are so focused on that one thing, and make excuses. In 15-20yrs when looks fade, money is spent, things sag, positions change, are you still gonna put up with all that BS?? #thinkaboutit #somebodyneededtohearit #perceivedpowerkeepsyoulonelyatnight
