Keeping it thorough on Thursday. If your plan is to put on muscle, tone up, or get strong, then you are going to need to incorporate compound lifts as the staple of your workouts. Some of the more common compound lifts include: 1. Bench press 2. Shoulder press 3. Squat 4. Dead lift 5. Hang clean/power clean 6. Bent over rows Compound lifts develop overall strength, explosiveness, and teaches your muscles to work in unison. First time doing power clean and and press since follow up knee surgery so, still taking it slow and using light weight. Was a little off balance, but will get it back a day at a time.
