Keeping people in debt is a good way of controlling people. Its a form of slavery. House prices have at least doubled and probably more in the past 10-15 years or so, the general cost of living has gone up like crazy, every daily and weekly expense has gone up, monthly bills have gone up, yearly costs such as car registration and rates and other things have gone up. However people are still earning similar salaries to before. Income levels havent risen alongside these extra costs. One must wonder what the next 10 years are going to be like (if we live to see it).
