Keeping with traditions and in celebrating July as Parks and Recreation month we will be holding our 2nd annual photo contest. We encourage people to send in photos of the parks that showcase how parks connect community . See below for photo contest criteria. Photos can be submitted to Jess Petroka, Aquatics Supervisor via e-mail at [email protected] or a hard copy may be dropped at the Bristol Parks and Recreation administration office at city hall (111 North Main Street). You must include name, street address, phone number and e-mail on back of photo. Photos will be accepted until Thursday July 31 st at 5pm . The Parks and Recreation administrative staff will vote for winners after closing date and the top 5 photos win a parks and recreation package. Packages will include a $50.00 complimentary program credit for any member of the family, t-shirts, 1 fall aquatics membership, and more goodies! Photos must meet the following criteria: 1. Park must be in Bristol 2. Creativity and originality 3. Any people in the photos must have given consent to be photographed 4. Photo should visually explain how parks connect community 5. Permission for photos to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for marketing must be granted
