Bear and Mountain Lions are invading foothill urban areas all over California ! They have increased their presence for a couple of years now. Dominant boars push younger bears out of their claimed area. The older and most fierce Tom kicks out the younger lions with a quick butt whipping. So whats the answer? Plow down all the houses along the edges of our cities? Where do we stop removing? How many pets do you have? How many can you support? Our wild areas are the same they can only support a given number of animals. Hunting is a great management tool. It makes no difference what your opinion is on hunting, there is tons of science and empirical data to support hunting as the only humane way to manage wildlife. Starvation is a horrible way to die. Legislators have no business trying to manage wildlife as they have done the last few years. DFG hundreds of scientists and biologists working for them that is THEIR job. Director Bohnam and Fish and Game Commission President Sutton should be fired for not taking their jobs seriously and managing wildlife correctly. They both have allowed animal rights and the politically correct crowd to drive policy. GET BACK TO WHAT WORKS!!
