Kejriwals politics is like medicine with expired date. Only it has become bit more allergic and foul smelling. An year ago, this politics of accusation and allegations found acceptance because at that time people were angry, frustrated and desperate. It was era of ill governance, rampant corruption, countless scams, policy paralysis etc all leading to falling economy with rising prices, unemployment, terrorism and corruption in all walks of life. People were completely fed up with not just the government and congress party but also with entire political system. They were convinced that vicious cycle of money getting votes and votes getting money could never be broken. They believed elections only meant transfer of power from one set of rogues to another. They had completely given up all hopes of any improvement. In that negative environment the only thing people could do was to condemn and abuse almost every institution of power and governance. And hence people found echo of their subdued voice in abuses hurled by Kejriwal and his party. BUT THEN SOMETHING CHANGED IN MAY 2014. BJP got unexpected majority and Modi became the PM.!! And this happened despite fierce opposition by all political parties, media, intelligentsia and anti-national forces both within and outside India. Modi started working from day one on single point agenda of reviving and restoring hope, zeal, enthusiasm and confidence of people in the system. He knew that nation building was possible only with willing and active involvement of its people. His positive performance on various parameters of development has helped in changing the atmosphere of gloom & despondency into one of hope and confidence. People are reasonable happy with the present government and also quite willing to give it enough time to perform. In this positive mood of hope, elation and confidence; people just don’t like any disturbance nor any unwarranted criticism particularly when it is made with selfish intents. THEREFORE the negative politics of false accusations and cheap abuses will find no takers except with few blind Modi haters. So, the maximum this Kejriwal can do this time is to entertain public with his comedy of usual drama, nautanki, laughable lies, sting operations, cheap abuses, dharnas, muffler, cough and (paid for) ‘thappads’. Good in the sense because whatever funds AAP has amassed will get exhausted in this election without any gain. Thereafter, it will be Paisa Khatm Shor Khatm.!!
