Kelly ONeil Hart asked, I am curious how you have utilized a tablet for homeschool. I have the Samsung Galaxy 7. I was hoping to upgrade it for a small laptop/Chromebook/netbook type thing, but the store wont allow me to do that. The screen broke and its under warranty, so instead of just replacing it, I need to upgrade. So, I can either sell the new one when it comes in and put that money towards a laptop, or figure out how to use the tablet to meet some of our needs. We already have plenty of educational apps loaded on. Each of my older two children have their own Kindles, and currently the only school my children do on the computer is Teaching Textbooks (so the tablet wont work for that...wish they would have a download app option!!), and Click N Learn. My kindergartner does use Starfall and sites like that as well. The tablet currently feels like a gaming device, even if the games are educational. If I am going to keep it, I would like to be able to really USE it. I was told that I would be allowed to upgrade to a 10 tablet, so if it were genuinely a valuable homeschool device, I would do that. Any help, suggestions, thoughts appreciated! Thank you!
