Kenosha County voters are heading to the polls to effectively elect the next sheriff for Kenosha County. In this contest, challenger David Zoerner stands out as the better candidate. Above all, Dave is a man whose character and integrity are of a first-rate caliber. Not surprisingly, he’s run a campaign that reflects this – a campaign that’s positive, forward-looking, and issue-focused. Importantly, Dave’s candidacy is bolstered by his wide-ranging experience with the Sheriff’s Department, for which he has earned well-deserved accolades that include numerous endorsements from law enforcement officials, as well as personal testimonials from students whose lives he touched at Wilmot Union High School. That Dave has earned the respect of his peers as well as that of young, often troubled, students is a testament to Dave’s record of excellence in each of the many roles he’s played at the department over his career. When it comes down to it, Dave is passionate about serving this community. He has a zeal for the job that is contagious. His personal qualities, his honorable campaign, and his record of service have been on full display throughout this race.
