Kenya handed Comoros in Afcon draw 27 Apr 2014 17:42:26 Kenya will take on Comoros in the second round of the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers after the draw was done on Sunday in Cairo. The draw, on paper, may look easy for the Harambee Stars who are scheduled to host Comoros in the first leg of the encounter in Nairobi on the weekend of Friday 16 – Sunday 18 May before travelling to the Island nation a fortnight later. The winner in the two legged affair will take on the winner in the other second round qualifier, pitting West Afican nation Liberia and South African minnows Lesotho in the third phase of the qualifiers before the group stage matches. The eventual winner will be slotted in Group C of the final round of qualifiers that includes Burkina Faso, Angola and Gabon.
