Kenyan Gospel artist Shiru wa GP’s baby is admitted in hospital a week after her son was laid to rest. Shiru wa GP is enduring an emotional time barely a month after giving birth to her twins. A couple of weeks ago, she lost one of the twins due to natural causes. The barely one month old baby Anthony Mwangi Thuo was buried last week at Mugumo in Kiambu. He was born on August 11th, 2014 and passed away on September 16th, 2014 The other surviving twin (a girl) named Esther is now admitted at the MP Shah hospital in Nairobi. Her late son Anthony died in his sleep. The artist tried to wake the twins up from their sleep so that she could feed them but baby Anthony did not wake up. He had no known medical condition prior to his death. The artist herself has been having medical issues due to a heart complication and was being attended to at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital. Her bill is said to be closing in on Sh2 million. Supporters and fans of Shiru wa GP are encouraged to meet on October 19 , 2014 for prayers at the St Andrews Church PCEA Nairobi. She is best known for her hits ‘Agiginyani’ and ‘Laleiyo’.
