Kenyan designer illustrates German history For the 25th anniversary of the Fall of Berlin Wall, the German Embassy was looking for a young and talented designer to create a logo. So, we contacted several students of design and asked them to present us their best proposals. The winner of this competition is Vivian. She was born and brought up in Nakuru, Kenya. She is a student of Architecture at the University of Nairobi. Her greatest desire is to give a beautiful face to Kenya and, more generally Africa by designing art or smarting up companies. As she says, she wants the continent to once again be true to itself in every sense. But her talent also gave German history a new face through the illustration of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. When asked what Vivian associates with Germany, the young designer affirms that she thinks of Germans as ambitious and self-driven people, willing to achieve their objectives. And she is also fascinated with a very special kind of art in Germany: the art of of baking bread.
