Kenyans Ranked Most Generous People in Africa: According to a survey done by an international charity group Kenyans have been ranked as the most generous people in Africa. Charities Aid Foundation(CAF), revealed, according to the World Giving Index 2014 conducted by international research firm Gallup that Kenyans scored a World Giving Index of 49%. The score ranks Kenyans 15th globally and 1st in Africa. In the top 20 list, Kenya is the only African country. Nigerians come in second in the continent and 21st globally. South Africans finish the top 3 in Africa and a distant 34th in the world. At the bottom of the table in Africa is Egypt. Respondents in the study were surveyed on volunteering time, donating money to a charity and helping a stranger. Kenya scored 67% when it comes to helping a stranger, 47% on volunteering time to an organization and 33% on donating money to a charity. Myanmar tops the global list closely followed by U.S.A.
