Kenyans stop duping yourself, you are alread in the hole stop digging! Think about it, if you believe the politicians and their spin machines’ view of Kenya why go school? Why get up for work since some tribalist is conspiring to keep you nad your tribe down? Why try? In fact the political elites, the tribal demigods, the tribal chiefs who seem to have learned good from our White Colonial Powers, owe me something, and I am going to stay right here until they give it to me. Many of my fellow Kenyans are angry and depressed. Why wouldn’t they? Grown up men and women who think they are totally helpless to take charge of their future. I see many of them justify violence and crime. Inspite of being renowned scholars in reputable institutions of higher learning have reduced themselves to court jesters, political rhetorical sychophants. After all if you think you are powerless you can justify robbing, stealing, corruption and even drug use, because tribalism has you down. That feeling of helplessness motivates riots and dissolution, and it kills the spirit of freedom and individual action. I felt that despite the power of TRIBALISM, the only power great enough to keep me down was myself…aren’t we keeping ourselves down? I have read and experienced far too many victories over this DUPE, over this type of system to let the system win. I still believe in the great tribal, demigods and tribal chiefs conspiracy, but also I have seen how powerless it is. I know from our history what we can do. Whether the tribalists and tribal demigods hated us does not matter, if they conspire, let them. What matters is what we can do with what we have control over. The elections actually is almost entirely dependent on us..do not listen to the dupe of Boardroom selection. Why should you allow the tribalists and their aides and cronies keep you from preparing yourself and compete against them on an even terrain? Kenyans prepare yourself effectively with the truth, that is your greatest weapon. Is truth relative or absolute? Can truth be found or is it created? Is truth the same as belief? When I hear the term “ the truth as I see it” I shudder with frustration. The truth is not as you see it; the truth is as it is. Truth is not relative; its absolute. Truth is eternal and unchangeable and does not submit itself to the thoughts, hopes or action of man. Truth is different from belief and faith, both belief and faith can be misguided and are OFTEN WRONG! Belief is confidence that something is true. It may not be true, but you have confidence that it is and you may act upon it. Acting on belief is called faith. Faith in most contexts is a verb-not a noun., its not something you are or something you have, its what you are doing based upon your belief. However faith alone does not mean the belief is truth. History is full of misguided beliefs and the faithful action they brought. In World war II Nazi Germany and Imperialist Japan believed they would conguer the world. Their populations held a belief that led to faith in their leaders. This faithful action took the world to war, but their actions proved untrue. It was only a belief, not the truth, the world did not fall to them. It was not their truth against our truth, it was a lie against the truth. Far too often we are taken in by strong belief, and our actions are often disastrous. Bad mistakes are often caused by misplaced beliefs. This is the success of con men:- This is what is happening in Kenya Right now CORD and JUBILEE Tribal Alliances getting you to act on your belief in them. If you do not know the truth when you find it, you will follow the one with greatest story…”change, implementing the constitution, referendum on ICC are great stories for us to ignore, are they? Except if we are couregeous enough to see the lies these promises carry..after all this is what happens in politics, business and even religion—following, the person who sounds the best. Also its what happens in picking political leaders today, is it not a display of charisma…. and developed skills of persuasion?…why should we then seek evidence of TRUTH?.
