Kenzies bilirubin continues to decline(Praise God!) today it was 1.1 after being 2.9 just 4 days ago! Her mucositis is so much better~she actually drank 2 sprites and a water yesterday which is huge! Pain and agitation and restlessness continues to be a problem~we havent slept much more than a few hours in days but she continues to improve medically at this point and thats enough to keep me going~her nurse practitioner explained to me that the pain shes feeling is much like a tooth ache but in her abdomen so theres no way to totally ease her discomfort and that it takes time~Im thankful that Tommy is on his way so that I can go to the apartment shower~wash clothes and nap~exhausted mamas and hurting~exhausted kids begin to mix about like oil and water! Its difficult to explain how one could be thankful for this exhaustion but I am~Im even more thankful for my husband and for the blessings God allows for me to continuously see in the midst of Kenzies journey~especially on the days when exhaustion takes over~Today Kenzie will get blood and platelets~pray for no reactions(she had a bad one the night before last to platelets) they are trying to come up with a plan to help better manage her pain and help her rest. The last 2 days shes actually had a WBC count of 70~keep praying for those neutrophils to begin grafting! To God be the Glory~forever and ever!
