Kerala Model Development The Kerala government is all set to bring in the “Clinical Establishment Bill”, to standardize the practice of medicine and to bring in more “control” over doctors and medical institutions. The big corporate hospitals have wielded their power in the government to bring in this draconian law, so that most of us -small timers will have to shut shop, as we wouldnt have the resources or man power to comply to the new standards. In effect the common man will suffer. He/She will have to que up to the large corporate hospitals and will have to pay exorbitant bills, as their friendly neighborhood small medical institutions are closed. Thousands of medical/para medical staff working in these small institutions will suffer loss of jobs. This is the Kerala model of development hitting hard on small time entrepreneurs trying to create jobs and to help the community. Long live the corporates and corrupt political leaders !!!!
