Kerrie (Greaney) writes: (Sorry about spelling, autoccorrect...) So, a couple of months ago, we found our oddly mixed breed dog, one morning, we were calling him, and he wouldnt come,he wouldnt usually go wakes, not so long after, I didnt give up, he came waking from the field behind us, I said hello baby, and he was crying and collapsed on the floor... I yelled for mum, he was encouraged to walk a few more steps to the path, so I could give him cuddles and say, everything is ok, we will do our best to get you better, he had internal bleeding, blood was coming from his behind, we raced him to vets I wouldnt let him go, I cuddled him all the way On the journey, the vet hasnt any idea what it was, could have been a tumour, or something with the bowel,, he stayed in vet overnight, had a call next morning, he hasnt got better, so we went in, and made the most heartbreaking decision to pts, me and my mother couldnt stay to watch, as much as we wouldve loved to, we werent strong enough, we went in before they pts, he was put in a child room with a hot water bottle all on his own because it couldve been a unreadable virus, my lovely dog never looked being alone, anyways put that aside, I couldnt mutter a word, tears were flowing like never before ( here I start again) I managed to say, goodbye darling, see you later, Ill tell the others I said goodbye,.. When we got home, me and Mum grieved, we still do to this very day, we decided to get him cremated, I like to write poems, so I wrote a little poem to be put on the box, (Ill post that tomorrow)... That Is my story about not losing my pet but a best friend too, my heart ids still broken it took me this long to take courage to write it here♥
