Kevin Durant just scored his 12th 30+ point game in a row in a game against the NBA Champion Miami Heat. OKC won 112-95 and Kevin was asked by the reporter after the game what goes into a 12 game streak like that. He answered, God, thats all I could say, Jesus Christ. The reporter chuckled in disbelief and followed up,You had nothing to do with it? KD responded, No, its all Him. This is something that used to confuse me before I was a Christian. God doesnt care who wins basketball games. But what Kevin is saying is his ability is made possible by God and God alone. Hes thankful for the gifts God has given him and wants God to get the glory, not himself. Its great to see such humility and reverence from a world class professional athlete, known more for his sport than his faith. It is simply a part of his life.
